Beautiful, old-soul, Bella. My life will not ever be the same--I am so grateful for you and your family.

This morning my yoga practice was in Bella's honor. It was a privilege to practice my discipline with her in mind. Thank you for sharing her story.

Nothing fails. Nothing is lost.

Namaste.

-- SusannaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09242117468579981159noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-257209375427878024.post-30849159822957206372013-10-30T07:15:10.683-07:002013-10-30T07:15:10.683-07:00Several people I know have gone through tragic los...Several people I know have gone through tragic losses in recent years and observing their situations and how they have gone through them has taught me that there is not a "right" way to grieve. When relatives die who I don't see often, I barely grieve....it takes a couple years before I realize they are gone for reals.

As for grief of close family members, I haven't had anyone go except over 90 and knowing they were going after a full life made it easier.

Dealing with the permanence of death is not easy but dealing with what might have been.....that is the hardest part to me.

It's actually an easy answer, we do grieving poorly because it's so damn painful! Going through the pain....well... YOU know better than I Tim....it is painful. Denial is easier.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
