U of M Gopher Marching Band...
Heveno!
Heveno!
Gonna post a quick one as I can't keep my eyes open.
I went to my first big 10 midwest college football game. Not as packed or excited as I though they would be. Then, Ang an Tracy found a good place to "stop cleaning for a while."
We then went to Grand Ave in St. Paul for some shopping fun. Tracy picked up some stuff for her kids.
Then we headache a spare in it and that my shhooe out of able (Wow - I must be reallly tired...)
Eventually we'll get the plastic baskets from the dining halls. (what??? I was officially sleep typing here...)
To finish, we went to our friends' Dayna and Brent's house for a yummy time of good food, and authentic, honest talking.
Tomorrow I will need more (photos) as it develops.
Sorry, I am not even making sense to myself tonight!
NEEEEED Sleep.
Will tell more about EB walkabout tomorrow,
God night.

Ali doing yoga...
Thanks for the giggle ...now go to bed! I have a plan ensuring I'm at the service at home....just awaiting the green light.

ReplyDeleteI just finished watching the hour long memorial video, and I wanted to tell you thank you. Thank you for allowing us, strangers, into your lives and your hearts. I watched the entire video with tears streaming down my face. My husband came in to see what I was doing and when I told him, he brought me tissues.
ReplyDeleteI loved that your Team Bella was ahead of our team at CHOC Walk. I loved seeing her beautiful face that day, and remembering her smile.
I hope I will be able to attend the local memorial. God night!
Thanks for the laugh Tim. Have a good night.
ReplyDeleteAnd Ali is so cute in her Yoga pose. Too sweet.
Lots of Love,

Had to smile at tonights post! You've got quite a driving schedule coming up...rest well!
ReplyDeleteSounds like u need about 12 hrs of sleep. You are going to crash hard. Keep us posted on your travels. Hoping to meet you and family. Bella made a big impression on my heart. I would love to talk to the family she chose as her earth family. Thank yor, again, for sharing her.

I'm impressed you can type and sleep/dream at the same time. That is a marketable skill my friend. What an honest look at how tired you guys must be. Safe travels.
ReplyDeleteNonnie
NC - but I'll be in SC when you pass through my home state.
You sure are devoted to keeping us updated...even if it means you have to do it while sleeping! Chuckling here and understanding that weary, walking-in-a-stupor feeling. The animal rescue group I work with (the one I told Bella about several times)had our annual rummage sale yesterday. I worked non-stop from 6AM til about 4:30 in the afternoon. I was worn. slap. out. And I'm sure my weariness pales in contrast to the physical and emotional exhaustion you guys are experiencing. So try to get some rest, sweet family. Praying that you can feel refreshed as you begin your travels east.

No way - we were at the Gophers game too! We also hung around after the game to see Obama's motorcade. My daughter couldn't believe that the President of the United States was in one of the vehicles that passed by.
ReplyDeleteDrive safely on your 'walkabout'.

I wish you luck with your upcoming trip and hope that it will both fun and rewarding.
ReplyDeleteThis weekend I met my grandfather, whose physical health is very poor, and my grandmother, who is slipping away from us mentally. And I thought of Bella, how you have to cherish every moment with the people that you love. This may have been the last time that I will ever see them, but I left with joy in my heart, for having had this opportunity to see them. Never take anything for granted, and even if I knew that before, Bella has made me know it even more.
Make sure to take care of yourself, so that you can continue to take care of your family (as they take care of you).
God bless,
Jennifer, Sweden
Funny, funny post. Now that's tired...Ufdah!
ReplyDeleteHaven't posted since the memorial, but I wanted to say how nice it was to finally be able to say Hi to you after reading your blog for all this while. It was a very beautiful tribute to Bella, thanks for letting this "stranger" be part of it.
Look forward to following you around the country. Safe travels.
