November 12: Chance Favors the Prepared Mind

Heaveno!

Well, what a day! Holy cow are we beat.

I am having trouble even knowing where to begin. Well, I had the opportunity to speak my heart and share Bella's story in front of approximately 100 millionaires, and when I finished Bella's song at the end of my time, I actually received a standing ovation! It was AWESOME. I don't know how much revenue we raised yet but the connections alone I established are OFF THE HOOK.

Sarah Palin could not arrive and Paula A, but I did get a chance to get on stage, thanks to her absence. I got to teach at the level of a human BEING.

Then, we went to the LA premiere of "tapping the Source," and were given VIP tickets by the author, who is my agent, Bill Gladstone. We got to meet a couple of spiritual leaders like Michael Bernard Beckwith, and Neale Donald Walsch! That was really cool.

Tomorrow, I have been invited to speak/sing at Bill Phillips' house. The crusade to a million continues. Okay, I gotta sleep. I'm beat.

God night.

  6. Tim,

On the eve of her CA memorial celebration, I stand back in amazement at the power that little girl has. I imagine the atmosphere in the room as you talked of Bella and sang her song must have been electric. She (via you and Ang) may be the key to the cure for EB. Research costs money - bottom line - and your latest steps may yield wonderful dividends.

Keep on keeping on. Your enthusiasm, your indomitable spirit, your courage, your charm are all working for Miss B and for the other EB babies that we have got to know and love.

    Fondly, always,

    Jane

  7. AWESOME! The amazing Miss Bella is working her miracle through you and Angelique. The miracle of raising the awareness of EB so much so that there will be a cure!

    Ang you looked awesome!

  9. Wow! What a whirlwind (I'm tired just reading about it!) Praying that God will provide exactly what is needed (including a cure for EB!) And praying for you all tomorrow (wish we could be there in person.) Hugs to all the Ringgolds from Team A!

    Love,
    Laura

  10. I have a feeling that the "crusade to a million" will become a reality! In fact, I would even venture to say that the plural form of that intention will be more likely. Okay, so I'm feeling a little greedy for you! I have no doubt that you've got what it takes! So happy to hear of the connections you are making! It's impossible to not be touched by Bella's life! Man, I miss that little girl!!

    Be well!

  11. I am so proud of you! WOW! Thinking about it I know a little girl that is proud of you too. Bellas telling everyone...hey thats my daddy!

Today was a rough day here. My dad has been in the hospital (doing better) and Clara has a double ear infection (feeling better). So when we went to get my butcher block counter top and they were out that snapped my good mood in two. Just like the rain falling I wanted tears to fall. I started to think about Bella...missing her, thinking about you, Ang and Ali, thinking about Bellas strength and wishing I had a smidge at that moment. Then on the ground there it was. A straw wrapper in the shape of a "B". There really are moments I believe she shines a little love on me too. This was one of them and what most would have thought of as garbage I saw as a "hey there" from Bella. A story I have been meaning to share but just havent had a moment to tell. I believe I have mentioned before that the sunsets have been the most amazing shades and painted so beautifully lately. I always think of Bella...thinking she is the one "painting" them. As I was going through my photos...I noticed a cloud. To me it looked like a child looking down on the earth praying. I seriously had chills run up and down my spine.

Let Angelique know (if she doesnt read the comments :)) she looked beautiful.

Tonight on our way home we stopped at McD's for a treat for the kids. They are raising money for RMH. We "bought" two "certificates" (not sure what else to call them) and this is what I put on them. " In memory of Bella Ringgold. Raising EB Awareness" If one person googles EB...it is worth it. Well it was worth it for RMH.

Sending my love to all and sweet sweet kisses to Ali. I will be thinking of you all tomorrow.

  12. Dear Tim,
It's Peter writing - the tall Canadian who shared a very moving lunch with you on Friday in L.A. at the seminar. I'm back home now and shared your story with my wife. With tears in our eyes and love in our hearts, we read some of your blog posts, including "Bella's first bath", and we listened to the song you sang for us yesterday. Wow.

What you are doing with this tragedy is amazing and inspiring. Bless you.

Wishing you and your family strength and peace during the California memorial service for Bella.

    Blessings to you all,
    Peter.

  13. Curiosity got the best of me. I googled the individuals you mentioned. :) Wow. Wondering though if your agent wrote the book about you. The description I found said "Tapping the Source, Using the Master Key System", which helps ordinary people become extra-ordinary." It seems to fit. ;)
