February 5, 2011: Wedding Bells...

Heaveno!

Well, the big day is here and almost over!  Bella's nurse Renee got married today in a beautiful ceremony and beautiful, fun reception.  There is so much joy at a wedding, and the reception that follows.  What a celebration of life, and of possibility.  The joy that was present today in Jeremy and Renee was just beautiful.  They are such a wonderful couple.  They just radiate happiness.  It's nice to be around!  We used to joke that once Bella was discharged from the PICU, we'd start dating as couples, because each couple totally dug each other! Well, it was just great to see them on their happiest day.

But before all that, we had a bit of fun in the snow!  Jay built up a little min-bobsled run in the back yard and all the kids and the two dads hit the snow kind of like we hit the leaves in the fall!  I can't remember the last time I went sledding.  It was great fun, except that I forgot my snow gear at home, so I got a whole lotta wet and a whole lotta cold!  Nothing a nice long hot shower couldn't fix, though.

We were planning on hitting PUNCH Pizza after the reception, but Renee outfoxed us by serving all the kids at the reception chicken tenders and french fries!  Nice move, Renee!  This is now our big dilemma: how to snag a meal at PUNCH before we leave town.  We have all our meals lined up through Monday night.  It is great life you live when THIS is your biggest problem!  LOL.

Okay, falling asleep here... gotta run.

God night.
